Dr. Muthuvelrajan pond & water feature This Koi Pond was designed as live working biological water feature with a self-sustaining ecosystem. The shape was designed to be fluid mimicking natural water features. The water feature has been designed as an exclusive RCC framed structure with custom designed shuttering. The exterior stone cladding has been specially sourced from Kolar (Karnataka). Each individual stone has been selected & pasted at correct spots to give it the natural look. There are bio tanks which helps maintain the filtration & pH value of water. The water feature has now become an aquatic hotspot housing 5-8 different species of fishes, including blue lobsters. This feature has lead to an increase in the birds, new bird species seghting.
